gir1.2-mate-wnck software package provides GObject introspection data for MATE Window Navigator Construction Kit, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gir1.2-mate-wnck
gir1.2-mate-wnck is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gir1.2-mate-wnck package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gir1.2-mate-wnck *
